Everything Kanye: Spotted at Mcdonalds with a questionable haircut, official name change and the shoe Yeezy Can’t get enough of-CROCS
A busy weekend for the Donda artist calls for appropriate footwear : Black Platform Crocs.
Last week in New York was Kanye’s debut with his obsession with crocs. On the morning of Saturday, Oct. 9, Kanye West and ex-wife Kim Kardashian were photographed leaving a New York City hotel hours before Kim’s Saturday Night Live set.
Ye can be seen wearing an all-black ensemble featuring a leather bomber jacket, his classic hoodie, black gloves and dad cap, and last but not least: the black platform Crocs to tie it all together.
While Kanye was presumably in the Big Apple to support his ex-wife Kim Kardashian hosting SNL, he also grabbed coffee with former Trump associate, Michael Cohen and squeezed in some time to kiki with Vogue editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour.
Mr. West had no shame in his black platform Crocs (in sports mode of course!) game when he was out to lunch with the most powerful woman in media and fashion, Anna Wintour. The rubber clogs, which have skyrocketed in popularity over the past year, have been seen on other celebrities like Bad Bunny, Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber.
The Crocs craze doesn’t just stop there with Ye! West was also seen wearing the new Balenciaga x Crocs collaboration boots that retail for $695 in Berlin, earlier this month. The boots were paired with his go-to, all-black ensemble and a white bald mask, reminiscent of Michael Myers.
It’s safe to say that we’ll be seeing more of his love for the rubber, EVA clogs.
However, considering that West has his own line of rubber ‘clogs, we didn’t expect to see him rocking the competing Crocs brand.
We are no strangers to Kanye’s polarizing fashion choices so we can all come to an agreement that the rapper has truly made a lifestyle and career out of weird footwear! Don’t be surprised when Yeezy fans worldwide and of all ages begin to cop a pair of their own.
Speaking of all things Kanye, it has also been confirmed that Kanye legally changed his name to the none other Ye. Very simple and minimally put, I don’t think any of us are surprised that rapper/designer would take this minimalist approach.
In addition to some not concerning news, what is concerning is Ye’s new haircut publicised through an instagram post while roaming around Italy, bringing halloween early with his mask, and making pit stops into McDonalds.
