Gucci’s new fashion line for pets
Fashion for your furry best friend is here.
Gucci has released a new collection, but it’s not what you usually would see from the iconic Italian fashion house. Fashion for those with two legs has moved over for those closest to us with four legs. The Gucci Pet Collection was released in late June and is sure to add a little luxury to your pet's look.
The collection was envisioned by Gucci’s creative director and renowned Italian fashion designer, Alessandro Michele, and released to pet owners through a collection of collars, jackets, sweaters, and more. The goal of the collection was to “infuse the everyday with a magical aura” that captures each pet’s personality through bold colors in each piece of clothing, according to the brand’s Instagram. Of course, the fashion house implemented its signature “G” logo across the collection in a variety of textures and patterns. Artistic glimpses of the collection can be seen in the brand’s campaign video captured by director and artist Max Siedentopf.
Alongside raincoats, harnesses, and leashes, Gucci also released cat and dog carriers, food bowls, and a made-to-order miniature couch for the ultimate luxurious lounging. Pieces from the collection range from $220 to $7,500. It’s safe to say that mans best friend just got a lot more stylish.
