Beyonce’s Britsh Vogue cover and what to expect from her upcoming music

Beyonce. Is. Back.

The internet has no doubt heard the buzz of Beyonce’s fan base, the “Beehive,” in recent weeks due to the R&B icon’s resurrection from musical dormancy after seven years. Beyonce’s rise from radio silence was unveiled with the utmost extravagance through none other than Beyonce’s very own British Vogue cover.

Her cover, “Beyonce Turns Up The Heat,” shines the spotlight on the singer’s return as she poses against a blood-red background atop a similarly colored steed dressed in all black with a fanned headdress immediately drawing the eye. The cover already gives a sense of Beyonce’s bold return back to music, with the horse she’s posed upon standing on a dance floor, and her other looks no less bold than the last.

Alongside looks of a bubblegum pink vinyl coat, sky-hgih gogo boots, and a disco ball, Beyonce’s stylist, Edward Enninful, spared no creative corner unturned when capturing the singer’s new era on set. After years and years of privacy and learning to exist as a wife, a mom, and purely as herself, Beyonce’s goal is to inspire people to rise with her music and bring people together on the dance floor and bring attention to cultures and subcultures, according to her Vogue interview. Now after all this time away in peace, the artist’s music will show pieces of her soul and the inner-most parts of her being.

According to the singer’s social media, the album, set to be released on July 29th, allowed the singer to “place a dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving.” The album, “Renaissance,” is meant to be a place to “scream, release,” and “feel freedom.” Like past Beyonce songs, the album will be no different in its quest to bring out people’s ferocity and sexiness.

For her British Vogue shoot, the singer wore a collection of looks ranging from pure elegance to wondrous intensity. The singer also incorporated some pieces from her own brand, Ivy Park, such as a bright pink bodysuit, and gold jacket while surrounded by glittering confetti. Other designers include Marc Jacobs, GCDS, and for her cover look, renowned Tunisian designer Alaïa.
