Blue Ivy Carter Crashes Date Night In Tiffany & Co’s Short.

Tiffany & Co. released a short film for their “About Love” campaign, starring Beyoncé and Jay-Z with with a cameo from their daughter, Blue Ivy.

The two-minute “Date Night” short, directed by Dikayl Rimmasch, follows the Carters on their date and takes us along for the ride. Set in a cab with the backdrop of vintage New York City, the film pays homage to the classic “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” With Beyoncé crooning along to Paul Anka and her hair piled high, we’re hard pressed to find anyone who could do Audrey Hepburn justice as well as the multi-hyphenate star - Beyonce.

Beyoncé opens the film plucking petals from a bright yellow daisy.

“He loves me, he loves me not,”

Jay-Z gets picked up somewhere along the way. The couple is dripped out in Jean Schlumberger while giggling like newlyweds and feeding each other pizza and champagne. Jay-Z, in particular, dons the famous Schlumberger Bird on a Rock brooch. They’re soon joined by their dog and Blue, making the perfect, enviable picture of family and love.

“Date Night” followed the “About Love” short that released earlier in the beginning of September featuring an enchanting and warm rendition of “Moon River” by Beyoncé –– the fourth person ever to wear the priceless Tiffany Diamond. The Carters garnered some criticism for the never-before-seen Basquiat painting seen hanging in their home.

Tiffany & Co. confirmed more films to be released for the campaign later this year. As a collaboration with BeyGOOD and the Shawn Carter Foundation, Tiffany’s About Love Scholarship has pledged about $2 million in scholarships for HBCU arts students.
