Travis Scott announces an explosive Astroworld lineup
Astroworld – and Houston – is getting an extra dose of star power this November.
Travis Scott dropped the supernova of lineups for Nov. 5 and Nov. 6 yesterday. Scott is a big enough draw on his own, but fans are going crazy over performers like SZA, Tame Impala, Bad Bunny, 21 Savage, and more.
Old-school legend, Earth, Wind & Fire and Master P will also take on the Houston stage.
“Welcome to utopia we morphed the grounds into a new universe this year can’t wait for y’all to seee it. And I’m bringing some avengers wit me,” Scott wrote on Instagram.
“Utopia,” of course, is the title of Scott’s upcoming album. But an album title is the only thing fans have at the moment. Travis Scott stans were a tad disappointed when the big announcement turned out to be the music festival lineup instead of the highly anticipated album’s release date.
And utopia it’ll be for fans who managed to snag tickets.
For those who didn’t manage to get tickets, take comfort in that you’re not alone. Before the full lineup was even announced, general sale tickets for every installment of Astroworld had been sold out since May. Fans took to Twitter to lament their bad luck with some memes. We can only hope that no one gets scammed by resellers. At least there’s community in suffering.
