Fans border between disgust and fascination watching KJ Apa drink his wife’s breast milk on Instagram. Apa captions the post, “My wife is a milk machine and I love it”. So now we are left wondering could breast milk be the new oat milk.
Should we ditch our oat lattes and start requesting shots of espresso and breast milk? Did we all miss the trend, or is this a thought that crosses the minds of everyone who has a pregnant significant other? Maybe people will start to question if they can still identify as a vegan if they are drinking breast milk— or if it is gluten free.
Apa may be onto something, in the age of viruses and vaccines the natural immunity boost is right in front of us—breast milk. Now, before you wrinkle your nose and gag just hear us out on the health benefits of the forbidden juice. Breast milk is packed with benefits such as its immunity building properties, it decreases the possibility of contracting pneumonia/ other respiratory illnesses, can lower the risk of ovarian cancer in mothers, and even studies have found that a compound found in breast milk may kill tumorous cancer cells. Bodybuilders and skin gurus swear by the mysterious properties of breast milk. We aren’t telling you to go milk your wives or demand milk from your local pregnant woman, but you know what they say— don’t knock it till you try it.
