Cartier’s Beautes du Monde: Their latest jewelry collection launched in Madrid, Spain
One of the most sparkling events of the summer.
We’ve seen Emma Chamberlain don a vintage Cartier necklace at the Met Gala, and we’ve seen a mock-up of a hundred million dollar Cartier necklace stolen in the 2018 film “Oceans 8.” But this past June, we have just now seen Cartier as we’ve never seen them before. Held in the Palacio de Liria in Madrid, Spain, a glistening gala was put on to showcase Cartier’s newest high jewelry collection, Beautes du Monde.
Cartier’s theme for their new collection focuses on “looking at the beauty of the world, preserving it, and above all enriching it,” according to their Instagram. Celebrities and public figures from all over the world were invited to one of the summer’s most lavish parties where everyone was decked out in jewels from the designer itself. Guests such as actress Yara Shahidi, actress Ella Balinska, and Cartier ambassador Lily Collins worked together to star in short video featurettes surrounding the release and the moments when they most felt the beauty of the world.
Guests attended the event in various pieces from Cartier jewelry, such as a watch worn by actor Rami Malek, and a diamond and gemstone necklace worn by Egyptian actress Yasmine Sabri. The Beautes du Monde collection has shown the beauty in the world even in the smallest of places and living things, such as one necklace, made from diamonds and emeralds, that is meant to look like the skin of a green iguana. The new collection itself was unveiled in the Embassy in Madrid, surrounded by modern and imaginative architecture.
